In the past, fishermen used the inedible dye yam as a reddish-brown dye. In the early days, people boiled the juice of the dye yam with seawater and used it to dye fishing nets woven with white cotton threads. After rinsing in seawater, which is rich in sodium ions, the color became stronger. Are you feeling artistic? Do you want to experience the fun of dyeing cloth in the intertidal zone yourself?
